They’re cute and comfy,
I ordered these because I thought they were the cutest pair of FitFlops that I could find. I’m an extremely consistent size 7.5, so when I found out that these only came in whole number sizes, I was a bit hesitant. Usually, people recommend choosing the larger size, but I noticed that the page said that the manufacturer suggested the smaller of the two sizes, so I ordered a size 7. They just arrived today and they fit me absolutely perfectly. They are probably narrow; I can’t really tell because my feet are not very wide.
They are also really cute, which is what I like most. As for toning abilities, I have no idea if that’s working, but at least they are very comfy, especially for a flip-flop type sandal.

|Practically Perfect in Every Way,
I ordered these beautiful Fitflops for my Rick Steve’s tour of Italy. The tour involved a lot of walking. I have really bad feet; i.e. fallen arches, Plantar Fasciitis, and Chronic Venous Insuffiencency, which causes pain and swelling in my feet, ankles and legs.
Pros:
1. These stay on without scrunching my toes! The design is such that the top comes up far enough for gravity to work on your side. I had NO trouble keeping them on.
2. Cushions every step. I immediately felt the difference from the moment I put them on. Very little to no impact upon my knees when walking great distances. My knees never – ever hurt with these shoes.
3. Beautiful – I have received several compliments on the style. They are quite fashionable and go well with dresses, skirts, slacks, jeans and shorts.
4. No plantar fasciitis pain – at all. This was so wonderful that I had to pinch myself. I have owned, Merrill, Born, and Clarks and these simple little things out-shined them all combined.
5.Unfortunately, my feet and ankles did swell excessively during the trip, but the sandals always fit! The design allowed for the top of my feet to swell without adding any pressure or making it hard to put them on. My ankles were the same way. Even with feet and ankles the size of footballs, they were STILL comfortable.
It is not as though I had no pain during the heavy walking days of the tour, but anyone would have no matter what they put on their feet. I am a photographer and I normally take an extra pair of shoes with my on event shoots because my feet start to kill me. I did a 3 hour shoot and never thought of my feet once! Fabulous!
Cons:
1. I have average width feet and these are slender and attractive in the toe area compared to the athletic styles. The downside is that they are just barely too narrow in the big toe area. After wearing them for two solid weeks, I developed small blisters and large calluses on the sides of my big toes.
2. These are not fit for all terrain use. In Florence the streets are old cobblestone and very uneven. The height of these and lack of ankle straps combined with the cobblestone equaled a fall when I hit uneven patches with both feet.
I’ve been wearing these exclusively! You would have to pry them out of my cold dead hands to get them away from me.

|almost too good,
I was excited to find this product in a style I thought would work for a variety of situations. Many people have complemented me on these sandals, not knowing they are fitflops.
The first week I was so sore I had to take a few days off from wearing the fitflops. I jog 3-4 miles a few times a week, but do very little weight training. I’m in decent shape, but was no match for the fitflops at first. At first they feel so comfortable you don’t think they’ll do much. However, those first few days I became as sore as if I had done lounges or squats for the first time in my life. It was exciting and challenging.
They won’t replace cardio, but are great for toning. I’m very happy with my purchase and will probably buy another pair sometime soon. They have really helped define my leg muscles and lift my butt. Also, I used to have a fair amount of swelling in my feet from day to day activity and the fitflops have significantly reduced swelling in my feet. It might be the arch support.
I was skeptical, but am now a big fan of fitflops.

|My truth about FitFlop Electras,
First, I have not seen any difference whatsoever in my leg or butt muscles. I don’t care. Not only are these cute, but they are uber-comfortable.
I bought these FitFlops about a week before I went to a conference in Los Angeles. I wore them around, broke them in (they don’t need much) and ended up wearing them all my waking hours. We did some walking, and I was happy. It wasn’t until my cousin and I went to Disneyland from 10 a.m until midnight, walking, walking, walking that I realized just how much these FitFlops really help. I walked for the whole 14 hour day and did NOT have horrible knee pain. –Three years ago I screwed up my knee trying to do a 5K. After that I walked 3 miles a couple of times a week (~an hour) for exercise and my knee would be sore. Sometimes I had to quit walking after even 10 minutes, the pain was so sore! But not so with the FitFlops, even after a super full day at Disneyland! Talk about awesome!
One more thing. I’ve had all these little broken blood vessels along my (high) arches for a while now, from being about 30 lbs. overweight. Well, the little broken blood vessels have disappeared since I’ve been wearing these FitFlops. I only bought them a month ago! My arches and my knees are so thankful for FitFlops!
(now if only I could get my high arched feet into their other styles too!)

|OMG, Comfortable AND Sexy!,
I’ve found that when I wear shoes with a heel (even a platform low heel), my feet get this weird numb feeling, for days after wearing (scary!). That does NOT happen with these shoes. I can wear them all day and night long (walking, dancing, standing) with no discomfort whatsoever. Seriously, these are my “go to” shoes – I wear them as often as possible. I’m picky about comfort and style and fit, and these shoes are perfect for me!
I happened upon these (in black) at a local store. I was looking for a nice pair of black sandals. I love Teva Mush (flip-flops), and various Birkenstock styles, but they are generally very casual looking (not quite sexy enough). I tried the FitFlop Electra on, along with Sketchers of a similar style. Both were comfy (and close in price), but I noticed the FitFlops felt “right”. I bought them and have happily worn them almost every day since (6+ months). They still look great (I do flip a few sequins back into place every so often, just so they stay lined up). They are still immensely comfortable. And, thanks to their design, I can wash the part where my foot goes, if needed!
These are dressy enough to wear in the evening in the summer or while on vacation, and can also be worn with jeans or a nice cotton skirt. But, they’re comfortable enough that you’ll wanna wear them around the house, with sweatpants and a hoodie!
Don’t be surprised if you find yourself looking to buy more clothes that will go with them, just so you can wear them more often ~
Oh yeah, and they claim to burn more calories when you wear them. I want them in every color.
These sandals are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

|different strap tightness,
I already owned the pietra fitflop sandals and i love them so much that’s why i decided to buy another pair. Since I have the pietra in size 9, I thought they will all be the same. I ordered Electra in size 9. I was so excited when they turned up because not only did I like the design & comfort of fit flop, I will also be able to give my pietra sandals a bit of a break every now & then. I was a bit disappointed because the strap of the Electra sandals is so loose around my feet. Why do they make it ldifferent? I know I have the option to return them but I live in Australia and I was about to go travelling when they arrived, so didn’t have time to to do all that. I just took them with me & hopefully will get used to them eventually. Warning to people who are buying the electra online, buy one size smaller than your usual size.

I already own several pairs of FitFlops and wanted something a bit dressier. These fill the bill. Be advised that these are NOT as FIT FLOPS PIETRA wide as other styles of FitFlops, so if you have a very wide foot they might not fit as well. At first glance these shoes do not seem to have much of an arch in them, but the way the footbed is constructed, when you walk in them they do give you some arch support, which is very important to me as I suffer fromFIT FLOPS PIETRA plantar fasciitis .

As if FitFlop doesn’t have enough rave reviews….
FitFlop shoes are really comfortable but I question the part about toning your legs. I just don’t feel it nor see any change – o wells.
But with that aside – When I used to wear the generic flip flops around the city, my ankles/knees would hurt and keep me awake that night. However, these FitFlops FitFlop Women’s Pietra Toning Flip Flop
